These Terms govern participation in the Starfinder Program, under which a participant refers creators to STARHASH and becomes entitled to a commission on contracts those creators go on to sign on the Platform.
The Program forms part of the Terms of Use and must be read together with them and with the Privacy Policy. By joining the Program, you declare that you have read and accepted these Terms in the version in force on the date you joined.
1. Who can take part
Joining the Program is voluntary and free of charge. Any individual with an active account in good standing on the Platform, as a creator or influencer, may join.
- Business accounts do not refer creators: a referral is a personal act, and the resulting compensation is paid to an individual.
- Joining requires valid, verified registration data, including a CPF (Brazilian tax ID), and a configured payout account so the commission can be paid.
- STARHASH may refuse or terminate the participation of anyone in breach of the Terms of Use or the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. The invitation
Each participant receives a single invitation, permanent and with no usage limit. The invitation is personal and non-transferable, and the corresponding link may be shared freely by the participant, subject to the rules in section 6.
- The invitation does not expire and does not need to be renewed.
- There is no limit to how many people may sign up through it.
- STARHASH may revoke an invitation in the event of a breach of these Terms, in which case the link stops creating referral links.
3. How a referral link is created
The link between a participant and a referred creator is created when the creator signs up on the Platform through the invitation link and the registration is accepted. A first-touch rule applies: the creator is linked to the first participant whose invitation they used.
- A creator has at most one referring participant, and that link is not transferable.
- Sign-ups made without the invitation link create no referral, even if the referral in fact happened by other means.
- There is no referral by self-referral, nor between accounts held by the same person.
STARHASH may refuse or undo referrals where there is any indication that the referrer and the referred creator are the same person, even under separate accounts, and may require identity verification of either party before releasing payment.
4. The commission
Where a referral link exists, the participant is entitled to a commission on the value of licensing contracts signed by the referred creator on the Platform, subject to the rules and limits below.
- Rate: 5% (five per cent) of the contract value, unless a specific condition has been communicated to the participant.
- There is no compensation cap: there is no maximum amount a participant may accumulate under the Program.
- The commission applies only to licensing revenue. Subscription revenue and other streams that do not remunerate licensing generate no commission.
- The commission is limited by STARHASH's minimum retention of 31% (thirty-one per cent) of the contract value. If the rate above would exceed that limit on a given contract, the commission for that contract is reduced to the maximum compatible with the minimum retention.
- No commission is due on contracts where the creator's share exceeds 65% (sixty-five per cent) of the contract value.
The limits above protect the sustainability of the Program and are applied automatically by the Platform, contract by contract. Participants can see, in their dashboard, the amount calculated for each contract and the reason for any reduction or non-payment.
5. How long the commission lasts
The commission period starts from the referred creator’s first commission-generating contract, not from the date of the referral.
- General rule: the commission is due for 12 (twelve) months from the referred creator’s first eligible contract.
- Founding condition: participants who joined the Program within the launch period defined by STARHASH receive a lifetime commission, that is, with no end date, for as long as the referral and the participation remain in good standing.
- The regime applicable to each referral is fixed at the moment of the first eligible contract and shown in the participant’s dashboard. Once fixed, it is not changed retroactively.
6. Conduct when sharing
Participants share their own invitation in their own name, not on behalf of STARHASH. It is prohibited to present oneself as a representative, agent or employee of STARHASH, or to promise results, earnings or conditions the Platform does not offer.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging and any form of spam are prohibited.
- Paid advertising using STARHASH’s brand, name or search terms without prior written authorisation is prohibited.
- Creating artificial accounts, using third-party identities and any manipulation aimed at generating undue referrals or commissions are prohibited.
- Sharing in any context that associates STARHASH with unlawful or misleading content, or content that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy, is prohibited.
- Referral advertising must be identifiable as such, as required by applicable law and advertising self-regulation rules.
7. Payment
- The commission is calculated per contract and made available to the participant once STARHASH has confirmed receipt of payment.
- Payment depends on a valid payout account and registration data in good standing; until then the amount remains calculated and withheld, without prejudice to the participant’s right to it.
- Amounts are gross. Taxes and withholdings required by law are the participant’s responsibility, save for those the law imposes on STARHASH.
- Participants are responsible for keeping the tax and banking details needed for payment up to date.
8. Suspension, termination and revocation
- Participants may leave the Program at any time by notifying STARHASH. Leaving does not affect commissions already calculated and due.
- STARHASH may suspend or terminate participation, with notice, in the event of a breach of these Terms, of the Terms of Use or of the Acceptable Use Policy, or where there are indications of fraud.
- Where participation is terminated for breach, entitlement to future commissions ceases, and commissions calculated from referrals proven to be fraudulent are not due.
- Where participation ends for any reason, the participant’s invitation stops creating new referrals, even if the link has already been shared.
- In the event of revocation for breach, STARHASH keeps a record of the participant’s CPF, protected by a cryptographic technique that does not allow the number to be reconstructed, for the sole purpose of preventing re-enrolment in the Program. This processing follows the Privacy Policy and data protection law, and the participant may request a review through the channels indicated there.
9. Changes to the Program
STARHASH may change these Terms and the conditions of the Program, including rates, limits and periods, by publishing a new version and notifying participants. Changes apply to referrals and contracts occurring after the new version takes effect.
The conditions in force on the date each referral link was created continue to apply to that referral, unless the change is more favourable to the participant or is required by law.
The version of these Terms in force on the date each invitation is issued and each referral link is created is recorded alongside the record itself, and can be consulted by the participant.
10. Nature of the relationship
Participation in the Program does not create any employment, corporate, commercial agency, franchise or exclusivity relationship between the participant and STARHASH. Participants act on their own account, without subordination, and are responsible for the tax and legal obligations arising from the amounts they receive.
The Program is not an investment offer nor a promise of return. The commission depends exclusively on contracts actually signed by referred creators, and STARHASH does not guarantee volume, frequency or value.
11. Questions and contact
Questions about the Program, about amounts calculated or about these Terms may be sent through the support channels indicated on the Platform. Requests concerning personal data should be addressed to the Data Protection Officer named in the Privacy Policy.
